He is a litigation attorney with seventeen years of experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, jury trials, and appeals. He is well known for litigating all manner of real estate and construction cases. Additionally, he has ample experience representing lenders and other creditors in collection matters. He has performed thousands of foreclosures and is known for his fierce collection efforts and strategies. He has ample experience negotiating contracts, handling commercial real estate transactions, and providing general representation to businesses. Jeff also represents a large number of Homeowner Associations and Condominium Associations in all aspects of their operations and is recognized as a leader in this area of practice by his peers.
Jeff was born and raised in the Mountains of Western North Carolina and is proud to continue to call these mountains home. He is the son of a successful entrepreneur who built and owned several hotels and restaurants. Jeff practically grew up on construction sites which gave him a unique firsthand knowledge of construction industry and issues. He also witnessed the struggles that small businesses face. This knowledge helps him to understand and advise business clients effectively and efficiently.
Since taking over as managing partner, Jeff has successfully navigated the Firm through a senior partner buyout, an office relocation, and a recent Firm merger.
