Jeffrey Strauss

Jeffrey A. Strauss is Senior Counsel in the Dallas, Texas office of Peckar & Abramson PC. His practice centers on Construction Law and Litigation – Construction, with an emphasis on construction litigation, residential construction matters, and commercial dispute resolution.

Jeff represents owners, contractors, subcontractors, and manufacturers throughout all phases of the litigation process. He works closely with clients from initial case evaluation through resolution, handling pre-suit investigations, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial hearings, settlement negotiations, and trial. His experience also includes representing manufacturers in product liability matters and defending claims involving professional liability, mass torts, and catastrophic personal injury.

Jeff earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University and his Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School. While at Tulane, he served as Managing Editor of the Environmental Law Journal. He has remained active in community service, volunteering with organizations such as the YMCA, Special Olympics, and Legal Aid of Northwest Texas, and previously led the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program during law school.
