Jennifer Jones Skipper

Jennifer is a partner in Balch’s Jackson office and holds licenses in Texas, Arkansas and Mississippi. She is an experienced litigation attorney who practices primary in the areas of product liability, toxic and environmental torts, wrongful death, and negligence cases. For more than 18 years Jennifer has defended a myriad of product manufacturers and possesses specialized knowledge in silica litigation defense. Jennifer has defended thousands of silica claims across the Southeast for large multi-national corporations to small closely-held family businesses. Jennifer has obtained innumerable voluntary dismissals for her clients as a result of an innovative motion practice, skillful deposition questioning, and artful discovery. She conceptualized, drafted, and won a never-before-tried defense on behalf of an air compressor company which ended silica suits against it nationwide. Jennifer was also a member of the first ever silica case to be tried to verdict in Mississippi -- a defense verdict.

Currently she is focused on defending serial actions being filed throughout the country involving mold.
