Jeremy Bronwyn Reckmeyer

Jeremy B. Reckmeyer is Special Counsel to the firm and a member of its Corporate Transactions department.

Jeremy is a corporate transactional and restructuring attorney with wide-ranging breadth of experience representing companies, financial investors, members of management, and boards of directors in all manner of corporate finance, restructuring, SEC compliance, and general corporate matters. His practice focuses primarily on mergers & acquisitions and debt and equity financings in the mid-market distressed and venture capital spaces, as well as representing creditors, ad hoc and official committees, debtors, equityholders, and other parties-in-interest in high profile chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings. Jeremy also has significant experience advising investor clients on SEC compliance and disclosure matters, spearheading shareholder activism campaigns and proxy contests, and serving as “outside general counsel” for public and private companies and investment funds across numerous industries.

Jeremy has represented companies and investors in myriad corporate finance transactions totaling more than $1 billion in value. He has also represented ad hoc and official creditors’ committees, debtors, and other significant stakeholders in numerous high-profile chapter 11 cases, including, among others, Toys R’ Us, Washington Mutual, Fairpoint Communications, Nortel Networks, Tribune, Sherwin Alumina, Lehman Bros., Dynegy, Pilgrim’s Pride, THQ, and many more. Jeremy has practiced extensively before the Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern District of New York, the District of Delaware, and the Northern and Southern Districts of Texas.

Prior to joining Kudman Trachten Aloe Posner LLP, Jeremy was a partner in the nationally recognized corporate and restructuring group of an AmLaw 100 firm. He has been recognized numerous times as a New York Rising Star and New York Super Lawyer in the area of Bankruptcy: Business by Super Lawyers.
