About Jeremy D'Amico

Jeremy’s passion is trying cases. Since law school and continuing through today, Jeremy consistently hones his trial advocacy skills. He is a graduate of the month-long invitation-only Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College.

About

Jeremy has successfully represented at trial and in reaching a resolution many people who have been devastated by injury because of the carelessness of another. At the age of 30, he tried a case along with his Dad and delivered a closing argument obtaining one of the largest personal injury jury verdicts ever rendered in the state of Connecticut: $23 million for a boy with autism who was injured in a school bus crash.

He has published articles focused on issues arising in personal injury litigation, civil procedure, and medical malpractice. He has also drafted legislation to protect the rights of people harmed through carelessness. He is actively involved in the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and guest-lectures a semester-long trial skills course at the University of Connecticut School of Law.

Jeremy is driven. He understands it’s not just a case, it’s your life.

Legal Career

Jeremy is a licensed attorney in Connecticut and Florida. He is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Connecticut Bar Association. He served on the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association Committee on Autonomous Vehicle Technology. He is a co-chair of the Young Lawyers Division of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, and a member of the General Tort Committee.

In July 2025, Jeremy and his father, Michael D’Amico, secured a $45 million verdict for a 22-year-old man who suffered complete paraplegia in a motorcycle crash caused by a sightline obstruction from a dangerously parked tow truck. This result is one of the largest personal injury verdicts in Connecticut history and reflects Jeremy’s commitment to achieving justice for those who have suffered life-altering injuries.

He has been recognized as a Rising Star in Personal Injury by Connecticut Super Lawyer in 2020 and was included on the Ones to Watch 2021 — Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice by U.S. News. He has also been recognized by Best Lawyers Ones to Watch in America, 2024 for Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice and Best Lawyers Ones to Watch in New England.
