Recipient: New Mexico State Bar Service Award, 1971; New Mexico State Bar Outstanding Service Award, 1974; NEA-New Mexico Honor Award for Outstanding Service to Teaching Profession, 1975; New Mexico Supreme Court Award for Outstanding Service to the Judiciary, 1982; New Mexico State Bar Outstanding Contribution Award, 1983 and 1984. Assistant Attorney General, New Mexico, 1964-1965. Member: Supreme Court Rules of Evidence Committee, 1972-1993; Supreme Court Rules of Civil Procedure Committee, 1993-1998; Advisory Group, United Stated District Court, District of New Mexico, under the Civil Justice Reform Act of 1990, 1992-1994.
