Biography
About Joel Uffman
Divorce can be a long and complicated process resulting in lots of questions and concerns about your situation. You need a lawyer you can trust to handle the stresses and problems that may arise during your case. Joel Uffman is a caring Team Leader Attorney for Stange Law Firm, PC, and he can assist clients throughout Franklin Country and the surrounding areas from the firm’s Union, Missouri office location.
Joel attended St. Louis University School of Law where he earned his Juris Doctorate and also was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient. Before earning his law degree, he attended Missouri Baptist University where he obtained his Bachelor of Applied Science degree. Joel is currently licensed and ready to assist clients in the State of Missouri.
Joel is Lead Counsel Rated for divorce and family law. Since 1997, Lead Counsel Status Verified has been granted to attorneys who possess the right professional experience and a spotless record.
Before joining the Franklin County Divorce Lawyers at Stange Law Firm, PC, Joel began his legal career doing Litigation Support in the form of E-Discovery. Contracting to work on a per task basis in tandem with the lead attorneys on various projects, he would peruse extensive databases of Discovery for sensitive information that would help or harm a case. The cases that he worked on ranged from civil contract claims to Multi District Litigation involving the opioid crisis. In 2021, Joel became a Public Defender. In this role he fought hard for those clients who could not afford their own attorneys in the State of Missouri. He then transitioned to a law firm in St. Louis that litigates civil cases and gained experience and spent a great amount of time in the courtroom advocating for all of his clients’ needs.
When Joel is not busy assisting his clients, he enjoys spending his free time with his wife at local wineries and also watching sports and his favorite shows on TV. He also enjoys playing league volleyball every week.
