About John L. Farringer IV
John Farringer is a trial lawyer focusing on complex business and commercial litigation. He has represented every type of business entity as well as individual officers and directors in a variety of matters, including securities litigation, shareholder actions, class actions, banking litigation, real estate litigation, tort and business tort actions, covenants not to compete/trade secrets, response to governmental subpoenas and investigations, contract disputes, boundary and land use disputes, nonprofit corporation act compliance, and civil rights actions.
John is the Vice President of the Tennessee Bar Association. He is a past Chair of the Tennessee Supreme Court’s Access to Justice Commission. John began his legal career by clerking for the Honorable Thomas A. Wiseman, Jr., Senior United States District Judge for the Middle District of Tennessee.
