It takes close to eight months to plan the Fireworks Extravaganza, and pyrotechnics volunteers work around 18 hours setting up the event on the eve of the show. It is all worth it because the 24-minute Fireworks Extravaganza has become a regional tradition, providing a lifetime of memories for many people throughout East Texas.
