Jon Conlin

Jon Conlin is a member of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Group, Private Equity & Venture Capital Group and Technology Group. Jon’s practice includes a wide range of complex business transactions; with a focus on M&A, strategic investments, private equity transactions and related corporate law matters. He also advises high-growth technology companies, founders and venture capital funds on private financings and other strategic transactions. Further, Jon regularly advises CEOs, boards of directors and special committees on corporate governance matters.

In recent years, Jon has led large legal teams on transactions totalling billions of dollars of value, including 2023’s Canadian Mid-Market Deal of the Year. Jon has significant experience serving as a director and officer within high growth businesses and, in addition to serving as the corporate secretary to a number of technology companies, is currently a director and officer of Filament Health (NEO:FH) (and member of the compensation committee and governance committee). Jon is the co-founder of MinuteBook Technologies, a toolchain for company builders, investors and lawyers.
