Joe Marino is a criminal defense attorney and former Louisiana State Representative. He served 2 terms in the Louisiana Legislature and was the Chairman of the Criminal Justice Committee. He has also served as a Gretna City Councilman and as an interim Jefferson Parish Councilman. He was appointed pro tempore as a District Court Judge in the 24th Judicial District Court by the Louisiana Supreme Court.

For over 30 years, Joe has practiced law on the West Bank of Jefferson Parish. Having focused most of his career on Criminal Defense, he is well versed in all aspects of the Jefferson Parish criminal justice system and the 24th Judicial District Courts. He is an experienced trial attorney, who takes client cases seriously and handles them with professional efficiency. His clients benefit from his extensive legal knowledge and expertise in dealing with the criminal cases in Jefferson Parish.

Joe has served as President of the Jefferson Bar Association and as a board member.. He also served as a board member for the Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Both he and his law partner, Davidson Ehle, are certified Police Academy Instructors and have taught at the Gretna, Kenner and Westwego Police Academies.
