Kaleigh focuses her practice on preparing and prosecuting both U.S. and foreign trademark applications, U.S. copyright applications, and protecting and enforcing a broad range of IP rights domestically and internationally.

My focus

The focus of my practice is advising clients on branding and trademark development, including selection, clearance, and registration, as well as trademark and copyright enforcement.

I have experience assisting clients with managing domestic and foreign trademark portfolios, including maintaining and renewing registrations. Additionally, I help clients resolve trademark disputes before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, litigation in federal court, and with e-commerce protection and enforcement. Specifically, I assist clients with Digital Millennium Copyright Act takedown demands, as well as Uniform Domain Name Resolution Policy proceedings.

New technology and new media platforms have helped create more original content, and as a result, more individuals, businesses, and industries are learning the importance of intellectual property. For many businesses, their brand is one of their most valuable, if not the most valuable, assets. With more companies competing and gaining exposure through new media outlets, it is even more important than ever to understand what IP assets a company owns and to proactively protect all intellectual property rights.
