Kendra was raised in Coshocton, Ohio. The daughter of the Public Defender, a sense of legal justice was instilled in her at a young age. Her father’s bartering of legal services for a freezer full of pork also instilled her later vegetarianism (although her later stint in Texas’ barbeque region resolved that issue).
While attending graduate school, Kendra worked at The Ohio State University. She used that opportunity to write her Master’s Thesis on Strategic Improvement processes, some of which were implemented at OSU. After a brief stint in Boston, Kendra moved to Austin for law school.
She enjoys water sports, travel, water sports while traveling, book club, and everything about food. She also goes to many of her children’s hockey and soccer games. Kendra lives in Bay Village with her husband, children, cat, and morbidly-obese English bulldog, Chunk.
