Kevin Probst

Kevin Probst is dedicated to assisting clients in securing short and long-term disability benefits across all phases of the process, from initial claim filing to administrative appeals and then lawsuits in federal court. With nearly a decade of experience at Legal Services of Greater Miami, Kevin has successfully represented numerous clients in disability benefits, special education, and health insurance disputes before joining Dabdoub Law Firm.

Kevin's passion for disability law stems from his early involvement with individuals with disabilities. During high school, he coached a Special Olympics running team and organized a charity race benefiting the organization. His commitment continued during his time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Namibia and later as a teacher for middle school students with disabilities in Washington, D.C. These experiences solidified his decision to pursue a legal career advocating for the rights of people with disabilities.

Kevin's academic achievements include attending the University of Miami School of Law on a Miami Scholars Public Interest Scholarship. During his time there, he excelled in clinical work, receiving the Dean's Certificate of Achievement. He was also elected president of the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board and inducted into the Iron Arrow Honor Society, the highest recognition at the University of Miami.

Following law school, Kevin served as the inaugural post-graduate fellow at Miami Law's HOPE Public Interest Resource Center. He then became an Equal Justice Works Fellow, establishing a medical-legal partnership at Legal Services. Before pursuing law, Kevin earned Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in Education from Goucher College and the George Washington University, respectively.

Outside his legal practice, Kevin is actively involved in the community, serving on the Board of Miami Homes for All. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida.
