Kimberly "Kim" Levy

Kim Levy is a senior trial attorney at the Dolan Law Firm, PC. She represents plaintiffs in catastrophic personal injury, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases. Ms. Levy was selected as a 2023 Best Lawyer in America by US News. She was also recognized by her peers as a Super Lawyers Rising Star 2016-2021.

Ms. Levy is the President of the San Mateo County Trial Lawyers Association where she focuses on community outreach, local charity work, and ensuring access to the legal system.

Recently, her appellate briefing with Chris Dolan and Jeremy Jessup in McGovern v. BHC Fremont Hospital 87 Cal.App.5th 181 clarified the law with respect to CCP section 364 letters in medical malpractice actions; and provided the right of an injured patient to obtain mental health records of their assailant which were ordinarily protected from disclosure; the First District Court of Appeal’s published opinion revived their client’s claim which had been ruled barred by the statute of limitations and provided a path to obtain the necessary discovery for their client to prevail.
