Krista Simon

Krista has been resolving disputes for her clients for over 20 years. Her practice focuses on disputes related to Wills and Estates, Personal Injury and Sexual Assault claims. Krista is committed to providing the highest quality of service, and values the confidence granted by clients.

Krista does not shy away from a challenge. She is both strategic and engaging and gets involved in every stage of a claim and manages the litigation process. For Krista, legal strategy and solutions are always top of mind.

Krista represents clients at all levels of court in British Columbia—Provincial Court, Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal—as well as before administrative tribunals. A formidable litigator, Krista understands that not all cases require an adversarial approach that ends in a trial. She is also highly skilled in alternative dispute resolution, believing that mediation is often the best way to transform challenges into the best outcomes for her clients.

Krista studied mediation at Harvard and Pepperdine universities, and completed a Masters of Law at York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School.

Krista’s unique set of qualities earned her Georgia Straight’s “Best Lawyer When an Accident Strikes” five years in a row in their annual “Best of Vancouver” edition. She has also been voted, “#1 lawyer in Vancouver” in the Vancouver Courier’s “Stars of Vancouver” for 2018 and 2019.

Krista leads many of the firm’s professional development initiatives, as well as its articling student program. She has been a CBA-BC Women Lawyer’s Forum mentor, past President of the Trial Lawyers Association of BC (2015), and a frequent speaker and chair of professional conferences.

Krista has the privilege to serve our community through appointments to the Supreme Court Civil and Family Rules Committee and the Law Society Tribunal.
