After completing her bachelor’s degree at Columbia University in New York City, Lacie returned to the Pacific Northwest and earned her law degree from the University of Oregon in 2010. She worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Oregon for several years, prosecuting crimes ranging from minor offenses to murder. Lacie returned to her home state of Washington in 2016 and continued her role as a prosecutor in Snohomish County before switching to civil practice in 2018. She worked for a major insurance company providing representation for individuals defending against personal injury claims. Since joining Brewe Layman, Lacie handles personal injury claims as well as a variety of family law cases.

Lacie provides her clients with confident advocacy and representation that comes with the experience of over 65 jury trials, as well as a multitude of arbitrations and mediations. Lacie is experienced in issues surrounding protection orders, child abduction, domestic violence, and the overlap between criminal cases and family law issues.
