Lance C. Tyson provides practical, strategic advice to clients on governmental and business matters. He works across several practice areas with specific emphasis in the areas of public finance, real estate, banking, tax credits, public investment funds and government affairs, to help clients develop strategies and achieve their business goals.

For over 25 years, Lance served as bond, disclosure, underwriter’s, issuer’s, and bank counsel in connection with transactions by the City of Chicago, Chicago Board of Education, Chicago Park District, Cook County, Chicago Transit Authority, Chicago Housing Authority, Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, Regional Transit Authority, College of DuPage, Illinois Housing Development Authority, State of Illinois, and Illinois Finance Authority.

His public service tenure includes serving as Chief of Staff to the President of the Cook County Board, Legislative Counsel to the Mayor of the City of Chicago, the Democratic Party’s slated candidate for the 10th Legislative District of the State of Illinois, and member of the Cook County Sheriff’s Merit Board.
