Laura E Tomaszewski

Laura Tomaszewski wears her very long, Polish last name that is tiresome to spell proudly. She was born in Massachusetts but considers herself from the Valley as she moved here when she was 7 years old. She grew up in Ahwatukee but has lived in Chandler, Tempe, downtown Phoenix, Glendale, and Tucson. She also attended only Arizona universities-Arizona State University, University of Phoenix, and then attended the University of Arizona’s law school before transferring back to Arizona State’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. She loves Arizona, especially the east valley! Before becoming a family law attorney, she worked as a mental health therapist in various facilities in the Phoenix metro area. She really enjoyed supporting and counseling others, however, it was clear that she really enjoyed advocating for them by getting them the resources that they needed. She decided to go to law school and here she is. She finds it rewarding to support clients going through challenging situations and to strongly represent them even when they don’t feel strong themselves. When she’s not working, she likes to spend time with her young daughter playing “pretend.” They also practice swimming and gymnastics together. She also loves to listen to rock music. On a rare occasion, you will catch her at a concert. She also loves our Phoenix Suns and usually manages to get to a game or 2 each year.
