Laurel served on the Atlanta Focus Group to the National Regulatory Barriers Database Initiative for the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development in 2007. She currently serves on the Earth Craft Communities Council for Southface Energy Institute, the DeKalb County Advisory Committee for the Council for Quality Growth and the Zoning Code Update Task Force for DeKalb County.
