Lee Philip "Lee" Teichner

Lee Philip Teichner practices in the area of business litigation, with an emphasis in the areas of product liability, tort, commercial and insurance litigation. He has extensive experience in products liability, involving a wide variety of products, including motor vehicles and their components, material handling equipment, people moving equipment, construction equipment, electricity, machine guarding, firearms, medical devices, aviation and other vessels. He is equally experienced in tort litigation involving issues of premises liability, medical issues, property rights, cemetery and funeral issues, consumer torts, motor vehicle accidents, construction and food contamination. He frequently handles business and commercial litigation, including contract disputes, real estate disputes, lease disputes, antitrust and other similar consumer litigation, franchise litigation, employment litigation, defamation, and non-competition agreements. He also frequently handles insurance litigation, including issues of coverage and bad faith. He is lead counsel for Bridgestone/Firestone entities, handling the substantial bulk of the consumer, retail operations and tort litigation in Florida.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Teichner was a name partner in his former firm, where he had primary responsibility for handling the firm's most prominent clients. He has represented clients in jury, non-jury, arbitration, mediation, governmental and administrative proceedings. Mr. Teichner has experience representing both individual and business interests in many of the areas in which he concentrates his practice.

Mr. Teichner serves on various civic and charitable organizations in the community and has served as a member of the City of Miami Beach Budget Advisory Committee.
