Leigh A. Kaylor

Leigh A. Kaylor is Counsel in Dentons Sirote’s Trusts, Estates and Wealth Preservation practice, based in Birmingham, Alabama. She concentrates her practice in estate planning and estate administration. She employs a full range of techniques to customize plans for her clients, from basic wills and trusts to more sophisticated spousal lifetime access trusts (SLATs), family-owned limited liability entities, life insurance trusts, and generation-skipping "dynasty" trusts. Leigh’s practice also involves the administration of taxable and non-taxable estates and trusts, including counseling clients in post-mortem planning techniques and administrative obligations, as well as the preparation of federal estate tax returns.

A key strength of Leigh's practice is her ability to integrate charitable giving into estate plans. She provides insightful guidance on lifetime and testamentary gifts, charitable trusts, and private foundations, connecting clients with philanthropic opportunities that address community needs.
