Loren's clients in this area range in size from small family businesses to large national corporations, including retail outlet liquor stores, taverns and restaurants, and theaters.

Loren started his career as a law clerk with Gene and Cyndy Ciancio while in law school, and remained with the firm after becoming an attorney in 2003. Loren received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1999, with a B. A. in History. While at University of Colorado, Loren was a member of the Track and Field Team (High Jump and 400 Meter Hurdles), and selected to the Big XII Commissioner's Honor Roll, 1997 and 1998. Loren was also a recipient of the Justice Byron R. White Memorial Award.

After graduating from University of Colorado, Loren attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, and earned his Juris Doctor in 2003. While at DU, Loren was the President of the student chapter of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA), now AAJ, and was also a member of the Moot Court Board for two years.

Loren has always been passionate about trial practice, even while in law school. He was on the University of Denver's ATLA traveling trial team, and in 2003 the team went on to be National Champions.
