He graduated from the University of Texas system with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism in 1999. Louis then attended Penn State University Dickinson School of Law and graduated in 2002. During law school, Louis interned for Judge Michael Eakin when the Judge was on the Superior Court. After graduation, Louis worked for Justice Eakin for three years as a Staff Attorney at the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He then worked for three years for Thomas, Thomas & Hafer doing primarily workers’ compensation defense. In 2008, Louis joined this firm. He has been recognized as a Rising Star SuperLawyer by Philadelphia Magazine which only selects up to 2.5 percent of practicing attorneys in each practice area. He has been recognized as such in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013. He is also certified as a specialist in the practice of Workers’ Compensation Law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Section on Workers’ Compensation Law as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
