Mark G. Olive

Mark Olive is an experienced and accomplished workers' compensation attorney. Martindale-Hubbell, the most respected directory in the legal community, gave Mark an AV Preeminent 5.0 Rating for both professional skills and ethics - the highest designation available in both categories. In addition, Mark has been selected for Super Lawyer honors consistently since 2000 and most recently in 2017. Super Lawyer honorees are selected from an annual survey and the distinction is bestowed on less than five percent of Minnesota's practicing attorneys. Mark was also selected in Minnesota Law & Politics Top 40 Workers' Compensation Attorneys and was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America from 2008-2018 for Workers' Compensation Law. Mark has been protecting the rights of injured workers both in the courtroom and at the legislature for over 30 years. As a former co-chair of the Minnesota Association for Justice workers' compensation committee from 1993 to 2000 and a current active member, he has lobbied against regular attempts by the business community to reduce workers' compensation benefits for Minnesota's injured workers. Mark is also a friend of organized labor and speaks frequently to union and other employee groups about a range of issues affecting the health and safety of working men and women. He has developed an in-depth understanding of the Union Construction Workers' Compensation Program, which administers many of the Work comp cases for injured workers in the construction trades.
