Mark L. Stevens

Attorney Mark Stevens focuses exclusively on criminal trials and appeals in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. He has represented clients in a wide range of cases, including DWI, aggravated DWI, OUI, controlled drug possession, assault, theft, resisting arrest, and habitual offender hearings. He has successfully defended clients in administrative license suspension hearings and parole hearings for charges ranging from speeding to murder. Attorney Stevens has achieved not guilty verdicts in numerous aggravated DWI cases, including those involving high breath and blood test results. His appellate experience includes obtaining reversals of convictions in cases such as State v. Duffy and Commonwealth v. Ouellette, addressing constitutional violations like ineffective counsel and jury selection errors. In addition to his practice, Attorney Stevens has authored legal texts, including A Practical Guide to Trying DWI Cases in New Hampshire, and contributed to juror voir dire guidance in Massachusetts.
