About Megan E. Walker
Megan, an appellate specialist certified by the State Bar of California, joined B&S as a firm attorney in 2025. Her background as a partner at a national law firm focusing on labor and employment law provided her with a depth of experience in both the trial and appellate courts. Having argued close to a dozen appeals and handled briefing for dozens more, Megan is recognized by her peers as an accomplished and capable appellate advocate.
Megan’s appellate practice is broad-based, as she works on appeals involving employment law, civil rights, business disputes, anti-SLAPP, family law, and probate matters. She has also lectured on several of these topics and published her insights in Law360, The Daily Journal, and The Daily Transcript. Megan’s appellate expertise is backed by extensive experience with trial court litigation involving dispositive motions, class certification, and settlement negotiation.
In addition to her appellate practice, Megan has taught employment law topics as a guest lecturer at the University of San Diego School of Law and as an instructor at San Diego State University. She is active in the legal community as a member of the San Diego Appellate Inn of Court and previously as director of the Lawyers Club of San Diego.
