Michael C. Guarino

Michael places paramount importance on understanding a client’s business and developing tailored solutions that work for each individual client. He aims to build a trusted partnership with his clients to help navigate the difficult and ever-changing issues employers face daily. While he has had numerous victories as an attorney, Michael takes the most pride in helping his clients avoid litigation through a common sense and cost-effective approach.

Through serving as interim in-house employment counsel for a Fortune 500 Company, Michael gained an appreciation for the business considerations behind employment decisions. This opportunity also afforded him the ability to gain a unique amount of experience navigating the ADA accommodation process.

In addition to his advice and counseling practice, Michael is a passionate advocate for his clients. He has defended employers in arbitrations, administrative proceedings, and state and federal courts. Michael’s litigation experience involves a wide range of employment matters related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and breach of contract claims.

Michael also has significant experience defending ADA accessibility matters. Michael has served as a trusted advisor for retail and hospitality clients across the Southeast with regard to ADA accessibility claims.

When not practicing law, Michael enjoys learning how to cook new dishes, traveling, and supporting Auburn sports.
