Michael D. Haight

As co-founder and co-owner of Henness & Haight Injury Attorneys, Michael D. Haight has spent decades advocating for people injured in serious accidents. Although he was born in Tupper Lake, New York, he has lived in Las Vegas since childhood. After graduating from Valley High School, he attended Dixie College on an athletic scholarship, then transferred to the University of Nevada, Reno, where he earned his undergraduate degree in 1989. He went on to Willamette University College of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 1995. Michael built his early career as a trial attorney on the defense side, defending at-fault drivers and gaining firsthand insight into insurance strategies. In 1998, he chose to dedicate his practice to “the little guy,” and today he handles only personal injury and car accident claims. He is admitted to practice in all Nevada courts, the 9th Federal District Court, and before the U.S. Supreme Court, and he is active in state and local bar associations. His professional recognition includes an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, Top 100 trial and litigation honors, and membership in the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Away from the office, he’s a devoted family man, a UNLV athletics supporter, and an active volunteer in Las Vegas-area charities.
