Michael J. Donnelly

Based in Hartford, Connecticut, Michael Donnelly is dedicated to supporting both public and private entities in Commercial Litigation, Construction Law, and Litigation - Construction, proudly working with Harris Beach Murtha.

Michael is involved in the drafting of contracts, addressing bid issues, and facilitating dispute resolution in diverse construction matters. A highlight of his career includes aiding a successful bidder in defending a public bid challenge, which resulted in a six-figure settlement for vexatious litigation and a written apology.

He has substantial involvement in the construction industry, representing owners in power plant construction and contractors in international arbitration for solar facility development. With experience in jury trials, courtside cases, and appeals, Michael defended a mechanics' lien case in Federal Court, obtaining more than $1 million as a counterclaim judgment alongside a defense judgment.

Beyond construction matters, Michael assists both profit-oriented and nonprofit entities in litigation and advises on information security issues. His work includes class action defense under the TCPA and various other legal challenges.
