Michael Kaeding

Mike Kaeding is a trial lawyer who regularly represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of complex, high-profile litigation, including antitrust, commercial, financial services, intellectual property, white collar criminal and technology cases. Mike has tried cases to verdict and regularly serves as a trial instructor for Emory University’s nationally recognized Trial Techniques program. He was named a Litigation Future Star by Benchmark Litigation.

Although based in North Carolina, Mike has successfully resolved dozens of high-profile cases throughout the nation and Southeast. He recently concluded a two-month catastrophic injury trial in Montgomery, Alabama, where he obtained a jury verdict for his clients in excess of $24.75 million.

Mike’s representation of both plaintiffs and defendants provides him with a unique litigation perspective that permits him to quickly and thoroughly identify the key issues and strengths and weaknesses of a matter. He uses this knowledge at every stage of litigation to achieve the most favorable outcome for his clients, whether through motion practice, settlement or trial.
