Michael P. Fischer

Michael Fischer is a healthcare and antitrust attorney based in Bradley’s Charlotte office. His practice centers on advising health systems, hospitals, physician groups, and other healthcare organizations on antitrust matters and managed care contracting.

Michael regularly counsels clients on the antitrust aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and provider network development. He handles filings under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act and represents providers in investigations before the Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice, guiding clients through complex discovery, negotiations with enforcement agencies, and compliance with procedural requirements. He frequently leads Second Request compliance efforts and works with economists to develop expert reports and analyze data needed to satisfy agency requirements. His work also includes advising on conduct issues involving dominant providers, pricing transparency, information sharing, and contracting practices such as anti-steering, anti-tiering, “tuck in,” and “all or nothing” provisions.
