Michael R. Cook

Michael Cook has a general legal practice with Cohen, Todd, Kite & Stanford, LLC with particular experience in criminal defense and civil litigation. Michael was previously associated with The Sammarco Law Firm LLC. He also held the position of Assistant Law Director for the City of Norwood and was the Prosecuting Attorney for the Norwood Mayor’s Court.

Michael is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio. He earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Cincinnati College of Law. During law school, Michael clerked at the City of Cincinnati Law Department and the City of Norwood Law Department.

Through his previous position with the City of Norwood, Michael worked on state and federal appellate cases, and advised personnel in multiple city departments, including police officers, building inspectors, fire code inspectors, health officials, and clerks of courts. At Sammarco Law Firm, LLC, Michael developed experience in workers’ compensation and personal injury cases.
