Michael R. Manarel

During Michael’s career he has developed a broad range of litigation experience and has consistently achieved favorable outcomes for his clients. A substantial portion of Michael’s practice is focused on construction injury and construction defect litigation, where he regularly defends general contractors, construction managers, managing agents, crane companies, hoist contractors, riggers, scaffold and shoring contractors. His clients also include engineering firms, electrical contractors, plumbing contractors, as well as home inspectors and equipment leasing companies.

In addition to Michael’s construction practice, he has defended insurance brokers/agents in errors and omissions claims and suits brought against them. While Michael approaches each case as though trial is inevitable, he is particularly focused on obtaining the best outcome for his clients through loss transfer, motion practice, mediation and arbitration. Michael has successfully argued numerous cases before the New York State Appellate Divisions and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Michael practices in State and Federal Courts in both New York and New Jersey.
