Michelle D. Wallis brings over 20 years of litigation experience to her practice at Wallis Law, focusing on criminal defense and family law. She studied Philosophy at the University of California, Santa Barbara and the University of Bergen, Norway, with a minor in Global Peace & Security, before earning her J.D. from California Western School of Law in San Diego. Further broadening her legal perspective, she completed a summer program in comparative law at Trinity College, Dublin. Michelle’s career began with internships at various District Attorney and Public Defender offices before serving as a prosecutor in Kings and Tulare Counties, where she managed cases ranging from misdemeanors to homicides, with a special emphasis on narcotics trafficking, gang-related offenses, and juvenile matters. Following her role in the Tulare County District Attorney’s Office, Michelle worked with the Office of the Inspector General, overseeing the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Since founding her practice in 2015, she leverages her diverse background to deliver comprehensive representation, often assisting clients facing interconnected criminal, family, and civil challenges.
