Mitchell C. Cory

Mitch graduated cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2016, joining Hickman Menashe as an associate in March 2019. During law school, he clerked with Winston & Cashatt in Spokane, where he got a taste of private practice including probate and real estate litigation.

Upon receiving favorable bar exam results in September 2016, Mitch took a job as an Assistant Attorney General out of the Yakima Office. While in the Palm Springs of Washington, Mitch represented the Department of Children, Youth, and Families, carrying an active caseload of dependency and termination matters, focusing on the reunification of families and the best interest of children.

After serving with the Attorney General’s Office for two years, Mitch decided to return the big city and private practice. He enjoys the thoughtfulness of estate planning work and focus on helping clients with complex issues.

Originally from Seattle proper, Mitch received a B.A. in History and a minor in Human Rights, from the University of Washington in 2013.

Mitch can often be found on a bike. While he prefers riding on gravel or over mountains, he is getting used to riding on pavement. He looks forward to cyclocross racing in late summer and the Fall.
