Nancy J Turbak

Nancy Turbak Berry is a highly respected trial attorney and founder of Turbak Law Office, P.C., with a distinguished career advocating for injured clients and policyholders facing insurance disputes. A Harvard honors graduate and University of California, Berkeley School of Law alumnus, Nancy has practiced since 1981 and was one of the first in South Dakota to become nationally board-certified in Civil Trial Advocacy and Civil Pretrial Practice.

Nancy holds an AV Preeminent® rating by Martindale-Hubbell® and is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. Nancy’s accolades include South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association’s “Lifetime Achievement Award” and “1997 Trial Lawyer of the Year,” “Attorney of the Year” by South Dakota Women in Law, and repeated inclusion in Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers, and Benchmark Litigation’s “Litigation Stars.” She has served as President of the South Dakota Trial Lawyers, Commissioner of the State Bar of South Dakota, adjunct professor at USD Law School, Chair of the State Bar Disciplinary Board, and State Senator.
