Natalie Armour

Natalie Armour offers experience in trial and appellate matters involving mass torts, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, and other types of products liability claims, personal injury matters and business litigation. A key member of the Issues and Appeals Section of The Lanier Law Firm in Houston, Ms. Armour has briefed appellate matters before the Texas Supreme Court, Texas Courts of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, Eighth Circuit, and Court of Appeals for the Eastern District of Missouri.

She was a key member of the firm’s talcum powder litigation team that won a $4.69 billion jury verdict against Johnson & Johnson in 2018. She prepared the responsive briefing in that case to the defendants’ motions to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction, among other things, which permitted the case to proceed to trial.

A member of the Appellate Sections of the State Bar of Texas and the Houston Bar Association, Ms. Armour was named to the select list of the Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Attorneys by the National Trial Lawyers, and has been selected as a Texas “Rising Star” by Thomson Reuters each year since 2020. Since 2021, she has been recognized among The Best Lawyers in America by BL Rankings.

Ms. Armour is a native Texan and graduated with honors from Baylor University in 2005, and earned her law degree with honors from the Texas Tech School of Law in 2009. After law school, she clerked for Justice Kent C. Sullivan at the Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston and was an associate at two Houston practice before joining The Lanier Law Firm in 2012.
