Nora Kharouba

Nora Kharouba is a Partner at Fasken with a practice dedicated to construction and infrastructure law. Nora is also a litigation and dispute resolution lawyer with an emphasis on construction and commercial claims.

Nora provides services relating to all aspects of the construction process from negotiating construction agreements, providing contract review and advice, as well as providing ongoing assistance throughout a construction project with respect to risk mitigation, project execution and dispute resolution (e.g. settlement negotiations, mediation, arbitrations, and adjudication under the Construction Act). As a litigator, Nora also has a range of experience dealing with claims ranging from construction liens, deficiencies, delays, extras, construction trusts, bond claims, to negligence and debt recovery.

Nora has assisted a wide array of clients ranging from owners, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and design professionals. Her industry experience includes various disciplines and projects (e.g. mechanical, electrical, concrete, structural, elevator, projects for hospitals, transit, condominiums, large-scale wind-farm projects, refrigeration warehouses, water processing plants, mines and entertainment centres).

Nora also assists with litigation matters relating to all aspects of product liability, complex contractual disputes, and negligence claims. Her work includes advising multinational clients across a variety of industries including manufacturing, industrial and automotive companies.
