Dr. Banwo is admitted to practice in New York and the Federal District Court of Nebraska. His work centers on employment-based immigration, including EB-1, EB-2 (including National Interest Waivers), EB-3, and nonimmigrant visas such as H-1B, L-1, and O-1, as well as family-based matters involving adjustment of status, consular processing, and immediate-relative and preference petitions. He also handles complex cases, including removal proceedings, responses to RFEs and NOIDs, and case restructuring after prior denials or adverse decisions. Dr. Banwo is known for treating immigration as a strategy-driven discipline, with careful eligibility analysis, strong evidence development, and thoughtful positioning before filing. He earned his LL.B. from Obafemi Awolowo University, qualified as a Barrister-at-Law through the Nigerian Law School, and completed an LL.M. at the University of Lagos, in addition to an honorary Doctor of Laws.
