Paul E. Knag

Paul is well recognized for his skills in complex litigation, health care law, and arbitration. Located in Stamford, Connecticut, Paul works with Harris Beach Murtha.

In the field of health care law, Paul manages various aspects such as litigation, regulatory compliance, and transactional work, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and non-compete litigation. He provides guidance on health care arbitration, HIPAA, Stark regulations, fraud and abuse, 501(c)(3) matters, EMTALA, CONs, DONs, physician contracts, risk management, licensure problems, disciplinary issues, patient care, and medical staff matters. His clientele includes both payors and providers, and he has experience with ACOs and IPAs. Paul is also an arbitrator for AHLA and AAA and initiated the development of a treatise on HIPAA.

In the realm of complex commercial litigation, Paul has engaged extensively across state and federal courts, including appearances before the United States Supreme Court.
