Phoebe S. Wise

Phoebe S. Wise is a trial attorney with a track record of successfully litigating cases for individuals, private companies, and public entities. She represents clients in civil matters including breach of contract, insurance coverage disputes, commercial and construction litigation, and probate and trust litigation. She has significant courtroom experience in state court and Federal court.

Insurance Recovery

Over the past 9 years, Phoebe has recovered millions of dollars in insurance proceeds on behalf of individual and corporate policyholders. Her practice includes all aspects of insurance recovery including insurance denials, coverage opinions, claims assistance, and bad-faith suits. Phoebe regularly represents homeowners, condominium and homeowners’ associations, and corporate clients to recover insurance proceeds for damage to their property caused by various perils, including fire, water, wind, hurricane, and flood related damage. She has also represented corporate clients across the country and under all types of insurance policies, such as E&O policies, D&O policies, CGL policies, builder’s risk, property and auto, contractor’s protective indemnity & rectification policies, and excess and umbrella policies. She provides both coverage opinions and litigation, as needed.

Construction Litigation

Phoebe provides comprehensive legal representation to individuals, businesses, contractors and subcontractors. She understands the importance of resolving disputes quickly to minimize disruption and avoid project delays. She also reviews construction contracts keeping an eye on insurance related issues.

Probate Litigation

Phoebe provides counseling to individuals and institutional trustees and personal representatives on a variety of matters including contested wills and tests, disputed estate and trust administrations, trust modification, and spousal and elective share disputes.

Phoebe is a Naples native. She began her career as an Assistant Public Defender with the 13th Judicial Circuit where she successfully litigated more than 100 trials and adjudicatory hearings. Phoebe returned to Southwest Florida in 2019 to be closer to her family.
