For more than three decades, Raquel E. Hecht has built a career rooted in immigrant rights, equity, and practical solutions for real families. She has been licensed to practice immigration law in Oregon since 1993 and now serves as the founding attorney of Alliance Legal, LLC. The firm reflects Raquel’s long-standing commitment to compassionate representation and clear, strategic guidance through the immigration system. Prior to launching Alliance Legal, Raquel was the founding partner of Hecht & Norman, LLP, an established immigration law firm that served clients from offices in Eugene and Salem for more than twenty years. After the firm dissolved in 2025, Raquel chose to begin a new chapter focused on community-based, client-first service and steady advocacy. Beyond the courtroom and paperwork, she has contributed as a professor, nonprofit leader, mentor, and public speaker, and has frequently shared insight through media and radio appearances. At her core, Raquel believes every person deserves dignity and a fair opportunity to move forward.
