Richard A. O'Connor

Richard A. O’Connor has dedicated his professional career to the representation of physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice litigation and has more than 30 years experience in such endeavors. Attorney O’Connor has tried numerous cases alleging medical malpractice in both the State and Federal Courts and has additionally handled appeals to the Connecticut appellate level courts. Attorney O’Connor also represents physicians with Department of Public Health matters from initial complaints through administrative hearings. Attorney O’Connor is admitted to both the Connecticut State and Federal Courts as well as the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Attorney O’Connor is a member of the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association and was also elected to membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates. Attorney O’Connor graduated Fairfield University, cum laude, and obtained his law degree from the Catholic University of America. Attorney Richard O’Connor has tried approximately 75 medical malpractice cases to verdict, with a greater than 90% success rate in obtaining defendants’ verdicts.
