Robert L. Thompson is an Associate Attorney at Resnick and Louis’ Las Vegas office. Mr. Thompson believes that communication is an often-overlooked aspect of litigation. He moved onto taking cases for automobile driver’s being sued by personal injury lawyers as well as business owners and casinos who find themselves involved in litigation for premises liability cases. Mr. Thompson has represented his clients effectively in all aspects of trial preparation from depositions, mediation, arbitration hearings, and, when necessary, taking cases to jury trial. Mr. Thompson continues to represent people and businesses to make sure their voices are heard in all matters of civil litigation practice.Mr. Thompson graduated from Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa in 2005. During his time in law school, he participated in Drake’s Legislative Practice program gaining first-hand experience as a legal intern in the Iowa legislature, and the Iowa business lobby during the legislative session. Before moving to the Midwest to attend law school, he received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Mr. Thompson also proudly served as a member in the United States Coast Guard.Robert is licensed to practice law in the Nevada Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for Nevada, and the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals.
