He initially worked for a personal injury firm in Chicago Heights, Illinois before joining the Cook County Public Defender in 1996. As a public defender he worked in the traffic division, juvenile division and then finally as a felony trial attorney at the Cook County Criminal Court Building.
He has tried over 200 criminal bench trials and 18 felony jury trials including murder, sex assault and burglary. Mr. Garcia is a member of the Capital Litigation Trial Bar. He joined the Law Offices of Michael McCready and Associates in 2004 and became partner in 2009. Mr. Garcia represents clients in a wide variety of personal injury cases.
