Sal Fazio

Sal Fazio, Esq. is a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of 500law, where he represents clients in high-stakes disputes involving trademarks, copyrights, patents, entertainment and sports law, commercial conflicts, and tort claims. He also advises clients outside the courtroom, with extensive experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, structuring startup formations, preparing internet-based service agreements, and handling trademark and copyright applications. Sal is licensed in New York, Washington, D.C., and Florida, and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Federal Circuit, and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. He chairs the Broward County Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section and is active in professional organizations including the ABA, INTA, AILA, and others. Sal earned his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University in 2016 and has devoted hundreds of volunteer hours to helping indigent startups with early-stage legal needs. He also writes and teaches, creating CLE programs, publishing articles on litigation and IP, and serving as an adjunct professor at Florida Atlantic University in intellectual property and entertainment law. Fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish, Sal is also a musician who has performed with national and international artists.
