If you've been injured at work or developed an injury or medical condition because of your job, you may be entitled to medical treatment for that, and a wage replacement benefit if you've missed time from work because of it. Even if your disability is unrelated to your job or any specific accident, if you worked "on the books" and paid into Social Security, you may be entitled to Social Security Disability benefits.
