Scott J. Chafin began his career as a prosecutor for the Caddo Parish District Attorney's Office where he obtained extensive trial experience. He then worked for a firm representing the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office, the Shreveport Police Department and insurance clients in State and Federal Courts. With his trial experience gained as a prosecutor, and experience working in State and Federal Courts, Scott then began representing individuals and families at the firm. In 2014, Scott became the Managing Partner for the firm and his practice is dedicated exclusively to plaintiffs' personal injury law. As part of his work, Scott is actively involved with the AAJ National Trial Academy, the organization dedicated to training plaintiff's lawyers. He has attended the AAJ National Trial Academy at Harvard University, the AAJ Trial Skills Course in New Orleans, LA and the AAJ Advanced Depositions College in New Orleans. He is currently a member of the AAJ Neuropersuasion and Jury Bias groups. Currently, Scott serves as a member of the Ark-La-Tex Chapter of ThinkFirst National Injury Prevention Foundation Board of Directors.
