Sean Ferrito

Sean Ferrito is part of the Medical and Life Sciences Industry Team at Harris Beach Murtha, located in New York, New York. The team focuses on the defense of product liability matters involving pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and nutritional supplements, primarily for FDA-regulated companies.

Throughout his career, Sean has been involved in various legal areas including general liability, labor law, property damage, premises liability, and medical malpractice. He utilizes a broad range of experiences in entity formation, intellectual property, administrative law, and trademark actions to provide comprehensive case evaluations and strategies aligned with the client’s business objectives.

Sean frequently collaborates with professionals such as physicians, engineers, and economists to gain insights into case facts and industry standards. In property damage, premises liability, and New York Labor Law cases, he strategically conducts site inspections alongside specialists to develop effective defense approaches.

Before joining the Bar, Sean gained valuable transactional law experience working with a corporate health care system, focusing on medical equipment sales, employment contracts, and service agreements.

Outside the office, Sean enjoys traveling, cycling, playing music, cooking, and spending time with his loved ones. He is an Ithaca College alumnus and was actively involved in the men's lacrosse team during his undergraduate studies.
